As more and more users buy electric forklifts, what should we pay attention to when using lithium batteries, the power source of electric forklifts?
First of all, be sure to prepare fire extinguishers and other equipment at the charging site! In order to ensure the long-term safe and effective operation of your battery system, please be sure to understand the following regulations: the normal working environment temperature of lithium batteries is -20℃-50℃; the storage environment temperature is 0℃-35℃; the optimal charging and discharging temperature is 25℃-50℃. In cold storage or cold areas, be sure to choose lithium batteries with heating systems!
For vehicles in normal operation: be sure to charge after discharging to 10%; fully charge at least once every half a month; perform battery maintenance once every two months to prevent damage to the battery system.
For lithium batteries that are not used in vehicles or stored for a long time: the optimal storage capacity SOC range of the battery: 50%-80%; the optimal storage environment requirements for the battery: ventilation, dryness, no direct sunlight, no rain, away from heat sources, etc.; regular charging and discharging, charging and discharging once every six months, discharge to 15%, charge to 100%, and then discharge to the optimal storage SOC range of 50%-80%.
Lithium battery charging, charging preparation: 1. Park the forklift in the charging area in a standardized manner and turn off the vehicle key switch; 2. Confirm that the battery button is in the on state; 3. Check whether there are any foreign objects in the battery charging interface; 4. Confirm the status of the charger and check whether there are any foreign objects in the charger charging interface;
Charging: 1. Connect the charging interface correctly; if there is a start button, press it; 2. Observe the charging connection and display status on the charger display; 3. Wait for charging confirmation for about 15 seconds, the charging current is normal, and charging begins;
Charging ends 1. Press the charger stop button; 2. Confirm that the charging current in the charger is 0A, and unplug the charging plug correctly; 3. Close the forklift battery compartment cover and place the charger charging plug in a standardized manner.
That's all I'm going to share today about the precautions when using lithium batteries for new energy forklifts. If you still have questions, please send me a private message!
