Electrical performance: It is necessary to clarify the labeling requirements for basic parameters of the battery such as voltage, current, and capacity, ensuring that it can maintain stable performance under different working conditions such as charge-discharge rates and ambient temperatures. For example, the voltage fluctuation of the battery in a high-temperature environment should be within a reasonable range, and the capacity attenuation should meet the specified requirements to ensure the normal operation of the forklift.

Safety performance:

Short-circuit protection: Simulate the possible external short-circuit situation of the battery, requiring the battery to have a good protective design, which can effectively block the short-circuit current and prevent accidents such as fire and explosion.

Overcharge and over-discharge protection: It is stipulated that the battery should be able to avoid dangers through mechanisms such as the opening of the safety valve and the cutting off of the internal circuit during overcharging; during over-discharging, it can automatically cut off the discharge circuit to protect the safety of the battery and equipment.

Thermal abuse protection: Consider the situation of the battery in a high-temperature environment or under abnormal thermal shock, requiring it not to have thermal runaway in extreme temperatures.

Mechanical performance:

Drop test: Simulate the battery falling from a high place to test whether the shell can protect the internal cells and prevent safety problems caused by damage.

Vibration test: Inspect the stability of the battery in a continuously vibrating environment, ensuring that the internal connections are firm and that there will be no faults such as loose electrodes and short circuits due to vibration.

Crush test: Detect the safety of the battery when subjected to external pressure by applying pressure to it, requiring the battery to maintain structural integrity under a certain degree of crushing without dangerous situations such as electrolyte leakage.

Environmental adaptability: The battery needs to be tested under different environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. It should maintain a certain capacity and charge-discharge performance at low temperatures, have good moisture resistance in a high-humidity environment, and have corresponding corrosion resistance in industrial places with chemical corrosive gases.

Electromagnetic compatibility: With the wide application of electronic equipment, it is necessary to consider the electromagnetic interference of the battery system to surrounding electronic equipment and its ability to resist external electromagnetic interference, so as to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of the entire industrial system.

Battery Management System (BMS): The standard should specify the functional requirements of the BMS, such as voltage, current, and temperature monitoring, charge-discharge control, fault diagnosis and protection, etc., to ensure that it can effectively manage the battery, guarantee the safe and stable operation of the battery, and extend the battery life.

System lock requirements: Set a system lock for the battery system. When abnormal situations such as overheating and overvoltage occur, it can prevent improper operation by users, avoid the expansion of dangers, and can only be released after being handled by professionals.

Appearance and other requirements: Stipulate the appearance, size, weight, etc. of the battery to ensure that it is easy to install and arrange on the forklift. At the same time, factors such as the smell of the battery should also be considered to ensure a good working environment.
