5 self-checks before starting
1. Three checks on oil and liquid
✔️Coolant height (liquid level between scale lines)
✔️Oil dipstick (measure again after wiping clean)
✔️Fuel gauge display (reserve 1/4 emergency oil)
2. Power system inspection
🔋Battery electrolyte is 10-15mm higher than the plate
💡Full vehicle lighting test (turn signal/headlight/warning light)
3. Mechanical parts inspection
🔧Tire pressure (refer to tire pressure mark)
🔍Appearance inspection (oil/water leakage traces)
Forklift Correct cold start posture
Operation steps:
①Pull the parking brake → ②Return the gear to neutral → ③Power on self-test
④Step on the clutch with your left foot → ⑤Step on the accelerator 1/3 → ⑥Start for no more than 5 seconds
💡 Manually turn the fan below -20℃ to prevent the water pump from freezing!
⚠️Three fatal mistakes
❌Open flame to roast the oil pan (very likely to cause fire)
❌Continuous start for more than 3 times (battery over-discharged and scrapped)
❌Forced start of trailer (transmission gear cracked)
Forklift safe shutdown
Special precautions for diesel engines:
Idle for 3 minutes after operation (turbocharger cooling);
Turn off the air conditioner first and then turn off the engine (to protect the compressor);
It is strictly forbidden to turn off the engine by "boosting the accelerator" (it will cause carbon deposits in the cylinder)
Emergency treatment for sudden flameout of forklift
Don't panic if the engine suddenly stalls while driving! Check in this order:
1️⃣ Check the oil level (is the oil gauge malfunctioning)
2️⃣ Bleed the air (loosen the oil pump bleed screw)
3️⃣ Check the oil pipe (pinch the oil pipe to check for blockage)
4️⃣ Replace the filter (recommend mandatory replacement after 500 hours)
