Characteristics of reach trucks

1.The reach truck combines the characteristics of a counterbalanced forklift and an electric stacker, so it has some advantages in use. It has good operational flexibility and high load capacity. At the same time, its volume and deadweight will not increase much, which can effectively save working space and improve the utilization rate of warehouse space.
2.The lifting chain in the reach truck is very important. The lifting chain mainly plays the role of supporting the weight of the forklift and the cargo, and drives the fork frame to rise and fall. Therefore, it is an indispensable component. There are two specific types of lifting chains, the disc type is suitable for large-tonnage forklifts, and the sleeve type is suitable for small and medium-sized forklifts.
3.There are some differences between the stand-up reach truck and the ride-on reach truck. The stand-up reach truck has the advantages of no pollution, low noise and high energy conversion rate, and is suitable for high-position operations in limited spaces. The ride-on reach truck adopts three-point support, the front left and right support wheels are used for bearing, and the rear support wheel is used for driving and steering. However, in terms of stability, sit-on reach trucks are slightly inferior to stand-on reach trucks.
